Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on December 24 at 190.97 points lower at 57,124.31. Nifty ended 68.85 points lower at 17,003.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on December 23 at 384.72 points higher at 57,315.28. Nifty ended 117.15 points higher at 17,072.60.
Grasim Industries, ONGC, Eicher Motors, NTPC were among the top Nifty losers. Gainers were HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, SBI Life, Asian Paints and Wipro.
