Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 7th July at 193.58 points higher at 53,054.76. Nifty ended 62.55 points higher at 15,880.80.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 6th July at 18.82 points lower at 52,861.18. Nifty ended 16.10 points lower at 15,818.25.
Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Hindalco and UPL were among the top gainers on the Nifty. Top losers were Titan Company, ONGC, Maruti Suzuki, SBI Life Insurance and Shree Cements.
