Mumbai: The benchmark indices ended lower on October 19.
Sensex ended 247.78 points lower at 65,629.24, whereas Nifty concluded 46.40 points down at 19,624.70.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 551.07 points lower at 65,877.02, whereas Nifty concluded 140.40 points down at 19,671.10.
Wipro, Tech Mahindra, UPL, Bharti Airtel and Hindalco Industries were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Bajaj Auto, LTIMindtree, Nestle India, Hero MotoCorp and UltraTech Cement.
