Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 11th May at 340.60 points lower at 49,161.81. Nifty ended 91.60 points low at 14,850.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 10th May at 295.94 points higher at 49,502.41. Nifty ended 127.55 points high at 14,950.70.
Among sectoral indices, PSU Bank, auto, media and realty indices saw gains, while Nifty Metal, Nifty Private Bank, Nifty Financial Services and Nifty IT ended in the red.
