Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on December 3 at 764.83 points lower at 57,696.46. Nifty ended 204.95 points lower at 17,196.70.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on December 2 at 776.50 points higher at 58,461.29. Nifty ended 234.75 points higher at 17,401.65.
Power Grid Corporation, Reliance Industries, Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the major Nifty losers. The gainers included UPL, BPCL, ONGC, IOC and L&T.
