Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 24th March at 871.13 points lower at 49,180.31. Nifty ended 252.90 points high at 14,561.85
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 23rd March at 280.15 points higher at 50,051.44. Nifty ended 78.35 points high at 14,814.75.
Tata Steel, Adani Ports, Tata Motors, Hindalco Industries and M&M were among the major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Cipla, Asian Paints and Power Grid Corporation.
