Sensex ends 900 points lower, Nifty nears 18,850

Mumbai: Indian benchmark indices ended lower for the sixth consecutive session on October 26.

Sensex ended 900.91 points lower at 63,148.15, whereas Nifty concluded 264.90 points down at 18,857.25.

In the previous season, Sensex ended 825.74 points lower at 64,571.88, whereas Nifty concluded 260.90 points down at 19,281.75.

Biggest losers on the Nifty included M&M, Bajaj Finance, Asian Paints, UPL and Bajaj Finserv, while gainers were Axis Bank, HCL Technologies, Adani Ports, IndusInd Bank and ITC.
