Sensex ends above 50,250 for first time ever; Nifty above 14,750

Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed higher today. Sensex closed on 03 February at 458.03 points higher at 50,255.75. Nifty ended 142.10 points high at 14,789.95.

In the previous season, Sensex closed on 02 February at 1,197.11 points higher at 49,797.72. Nifty ended 366.65 points high at 14,647.85.

IndusInd Bank, Power Grid Corp, Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy’s Labs and Divis Lab were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Shree Cements, UltraTech Cement, Maruti Suzuki, ITC and UPL.
