Mumbai: Sensex closed today on April 8, 2020 at 173.25 points lower at 29,893.96. Similarly, Nifty ended 43.45 points down at 8748.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on April 7, 2020 at 2,476.26 points higher at 30,067.21. Similarly, Nifty ended 708.40 points up at 8,792.20.
Shree Cements, Titan Company, TCS, Hindalco and BPCL were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Vedanta, Sun Pharma, Cipla, NTPC and Bharti Infratel.
