Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended flat amid mixed global cues on Wednesday. Sensex closed on 11th August at 28.73 points lower at 54,525.93. Nifty ended 2.15 points higher at 16,282.25.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 10th August at 151.81 points higher at 54,554.66. Nifty ended 21.85 points higher at 16,280.10.
Tata Steel, JSW Steel, IOC, NTPC and Hindalco were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Shree Cements, Sun Pharma, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bajaj Auto and ICICI Bank.
