Sensex, Nifty end marginally higher; Nifty nears 14,900

Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended with marginal gains on April 29 amid high volatility on April F&O expiry day.

Sensex closed on 29th April at 32.10 points higher at 49,765.94. Nifty ended 30.35 points high at 14,894.90.

In the previous season, Sensex closed on 28th April at 789.70 points higher at 49,733.84. Nifty ended 211.50 points high at 14,864.55.

JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance and Hindalco Industries were among the top gainers on the Nifty. Losers included Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto, HDFC and HCL Technologies.
