Mumbai: Key benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading flat in early session on the last trading day of 2020.
At 10:22 am, after opening on a negative note, the 30-share BSE Sensex was up by 53.68 points at 47,799.90 in morning session.
The broader Nifty of NSE edged up by 12.70 points to 13,994.65 with 30 of its constituents trading in green.
ONGC, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Bajaj Finserve were among major gainers.
On the other hand, TCS, Infosys, M&M, Ultratech Cement, HUL, NTPC and SBI dropped.
