Mumbai: Equity benchmark Sensex soared over 600 points in early trade on Tuesday. At 10:13 am, the 30-share BSE index was trading 402.35 points or 1.21 per cent higher at 49,983.08.
Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty rose 127.30 points to 15,050.45.
All Sensex components were trading in the positive terrain followed by IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, PowerGrid, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Auto and ICICI Bank.
