Mumbai, Aug 20 (PTI) Small sugar prices eased further at the Vashi wholesale market here today on subdued demand from stockists and bulk consumers.
Medium sugar prices ended on a mixed note following alternate bouts of buying and selling activity.
Small sugar (S-30) moved down by Rs 8 per quintal to Rs 3,152/3,262 from last Saturday’s close of Rs 3,160/3,262.
Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,212/3,452 per quintal as against Rs 3,206/3,462, previously.
Following are today’s closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,152/3,262 (Rs 3,160/3,262).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,212/3,452 (Rs 3,206/3,462).
