New Delhi, 28th September 2020: In a notification issued on the 28th September 2020, the food ministry has allocated quota of 23 LMT monthly for the month of October to each of 547 mills in India.
The Government has announced 23 LMT Monthly Sugar Quota for Sale in October 2020 which is 1,00,00 MT higher quota compared to the last month’s sugar quota of September 2020 which stood at 22 LMT.
The statewise quota for October 2020 is as follows: Andhra Pradesh 31621 MT, Bihar 59510 MT, Chhattisgarh 6231 MT, Goa 0 MT, Gujarat 77481 MT, Haryana 60309 MT, Karnataka 241201 MT, Madhya Pradesh 28411 MT, Maharashtra 662842 MT, Orissa 143 MT, Punjab 51883 MT, Rajasthan 980 MT, Tamil Nadu 47018 MT, Telangana 3503 MT, Uttar Pradesh 987126 MT, Uttarakhand 41740 MT.
