Kurukshetra: To motive the sugarcane farmers, Shahabad sugar mill in Haryana has declared a prize of Rs 1000 and felicitation of cane growers who will bring clean and fresh sugarcane to the mill for crushing. Along with this, the photo of the farmer will be published on the mill’s board to applaud him.
Lalit Batara, vice-chairman of finance wing of Haryana bureau public enterprise conducted meeting of the mill officers on Thursday and asked them to work hard for the mill’s progress. He stated that if the farmers bring clean cane to the mill will be felicitated with Rs 1000. He asked the officials to spread awareness among the farmers about this.
