Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh: Apart from Gorakhpur, Basti and Azamgarh divisions, the preparations to start sugar mills located in Gonda district has intensified.
The Munderwa sugar mill will start crushing from November 28 and Pipraich mill will start from November 29. The mills have completed all the preparations to commence the mill.
Earlier, state CM Yogi Aditynatha had instructed sugar mills to begin the crushing operations on time. Following which, mills have speed the preparation to start the operations.
As per the data released by Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA), the sugar production has increased in the state despite 76 mills operating this season as of November 15 as compared to 78 mills in the previous season.
