Bijnor: During a BJP-organised convention at the JVC Resort on Chakkar Road in Bijnor, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underscored the critical role of the sugarcane sector in Uttar Pradesh’s economy. He highlighted that each vote holds immense significance, as it can influence the fate of the sugarcane farmers and the entire nation, reported Live Hindustan.

Adityanath urged voters to support candidates and parties committed to uplifting the sugarcane industry. He pointed out that correct voting choices have led to significant improvements, ensuring timely payments to sugarcane farmers and eradicating corruption in procurement processes.

The Chief Minister also criticised past governments for neglecting the sugarcane sector and failing to honour leaders like Chaudhary Charan Singh. Conversely, he lauded the Modi government for its efforts to revitalise the sugarcane industry, including recognising the contributions of leaders like Chaudhary Charan Singh.

He said that sugarcane farmers are getting paid on time and also receiving payments exceeding the State Advised Price (SAP).
