Trading Corporation of Pakistan issues tender to purchase 100,000 tonnes of sugar

Hamburg, Pakistan: Pakistan government has floated a new international tender to purchase 100,000 tonnes of white sugar, informed the European traders. The tender issued by the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) closes on September 8.

According to the media report, Pakistan has not made any purchase of sugar in its earlier tender of 300,000 tonnes that closed in August.

The Pakistan government had on July 28 decided to import 300,000 tonnes of sugar to meet the shortage of sugar in the country.

All of the sugar purchased should be delivered by October 25 to the port of Karachi.
