Lucknow: Rising to the call of the state government the sugar mills and other companies in Uttar Pradesh have increased the production of hand sanitisers. Hand sanitiser helps in fighting against the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the data from the state government, total 72 companies including sugar mills are engaged in the production of hand sanitiser. At present these companies produce 1,50,000 litre sanitizers daily.
Total 14,85,860 litres of hand sanitisers have been produced so far in the state. Out of which 9,61,200 litres have been supplied in the market.
Government is making every effort to promote the sanitizer industry and its production.
