Domestic Market
Domestic prices traded stable
Domestic sugar prices were reported as stable following a session-long decline. According to reports, demand is good at resale but is dull at tender rates. Additionally, the first two weeks of October are predicted to be rainy, which could postpone the beginning of crushing operations.
In Kolhapur, quintals of S grade sugar cost between Rs. 3,640 and 3,670, while M grade prices in Muzaffarnagar ranges from Rs. 3,840 to 3,870. According to AgriMandi, the price of S grade sugar in Kolhapur markets will range between Rs 3,620 and Rs 3,700.

International Market
At the time of writing this update London White Sugar #5 front month contract is trading at $717.80 ton, whereas the New York Sugar #11 front month contract is trading at 26.34 c/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 83.289 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 4.9704, Crude futures traded at โน7420, Crude WTI traded at $88.98 barrel. Sensex closed 78.22 points lower at 65945.47 whereas Nifty ended 9.85 points lower at 19664.70
