International Market

Sugar prices rallied on strengthened crude prices and tighter global supplies. At the time of writing this update London White Sugar #5 front month contract is trading at $660.40/ton, whereas the New York Sugar #11 front month contract is trading at 23.17 c/lb.

Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices

The rupee traded against the US dollar at 81.882 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.0440, Crude futures traded at ₹6594, Crude WTI traded at $80.81/barrel. Sensex closed 143.66 points higher at 59832.97 whereas Nifty ended 42.10 points higher at 17599.15.
