Domestic Market

Sugar prices continued to trade stable

Sugar prices in domestic markets remained stable due to strong demand. In Kolhapur, S grades were trading between Rs 3,500 and Rs 3,540, while M grades were trading between Rs 3,650 and Rs 3,680.

According to Agrimandi.live, S grade prices in Kolhapur markets are expected to be in the Rs 3,400-3,550 per quintal range.

International Market

At the time of writing this update London White Sugar #5 front month contract is trading at $658.90 ton, whereas the New York Sugar #11 front month contract is trading at 23.34 c/lb.

Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices

The rupee traded against the US dollar at 82.455 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 4.8456, Crude futures traded at ₹5936, Crude WTI traded at $72.10 barrel. Sensex closed 339.60 points higher at 65785.64 whereas Nifty ended 98.80 points higher at 19497.30
