Indore, Madhya Pradesh: Online meeting to guide sugarcane farmers was organized by Barwani unit of OLAM AGRO-CHATWA and Solidaridad Network Asia Limited. During the meeting, experts guided cane growers about how they can avail government subsidies, infrastructure requirement, support required for availing finance.
Sugarcane scientist, Dr Salunkhe, answered all the queries raised by the farmers regarding the increasing sugarcane productivity, pest control and other issues.
The online meeting was held under the chairmanship of Rajesh Nath by following social distancing and other norms. Farmers were happy after attending the online meeting. Sugarcane farmers from Thikri, Anjad, Sendhwa, Khalghat, Talwada, Dawana, Dharampuri, Maheshwar attended the meet.
