Mumbai: Sensex closed on April 28, 2020 at 371.44 points higher at 32,114.52. Nifty ended 98.60 points up at 9,380.90.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on April 27, 2020 at 415.86 points higher at 31,743.08. Nifty ended 127.90 points up at 9,282.30.
IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, HDFC, Axis Bank and Bajaj Finserv were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Sun Pharma, IOC, NTPC, Nestle and Vedanta.
