Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Monday. Sensex closed on June 8, 2020 at 83.34 points higher at 34,370.58. Nifty ended 25.30 points high at 10,167.45.
In the previous season, The BSE S&P Sensex closed 307 points higher at 34,287 while the Nifty 50 moved up by 113 points at 10,142.
GAIL, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, BPCL and Bajaj Finance were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Zee Entertainment, Shree Cements, Eicher Motors, Bharti Infratel and M&M.
